Today, we hopped in the car and went to another mall, but this time, we were going to a restaurant to have Mother’s Day dinner.  There was all kinds of food, and it was all delicious.  On a dare, Oscar and I both ate a rather large chili pepper, which I immediately regretted.  It was okay though, because I didn’t let it show and I toughed it out like a man.  After dinner, we went to get ice cream.  The way this mall was set up, you needed to walk through Ikea to get to the parking lot, so we just grabbed the ice cream there.  It wasn’t bad.  After searching for the car for about 20 minutes, we went to 奶奶’s house (grandma) and we played Mahjong for a couple hours.  I didn’t know how to play beforehand, but my host mom helped me out and I ended up winning about 200元 that night.  They also paid for me to get a foot massage, (I don’t have any idea where that came from) but it was wonderful.  Feeling relaxed and tired, I went to sleep for the last day with my first host family.
